All of our workshops are taught in our workshop space in Nailsea, North Somerset, a short drive from Clevedon, Weston Super Mare, Portishead, Bristol and the Chew Valley.

Sew a Christmas Stocking

Improve your confidence with your machine sewing in this fun and quick to make Christmas Stocking workshop taught by Rachel Millener. Aimed at those already familiar with the basics such as threading, bobbin winding, straight stitching. Suitable for adults and young people aged 14+.
Please note, materials are NOT provided in this workshop – below is a list of equipment and materials you will need to bring with you.
- your own sewing machine (including power cable) and the instruction book if possible. Your machine must be in full working order.
- One fat quarter of main fabric, one fat quarter of lining fabric
- A small amount of contrasting fabric for stocking top
- A small amount of ribbon
The Blue Room stocks basic haberdashery including thread, pins, ribbon, bias binding etc. as well as Sew Scrumptious remnants and fat quarters suitable for this project.
