One event on October 19, 2018 at 10:30am
Use beautifully soft merino wool to needle felt a masterpiece! This workshop provides tuition and everything you need, including the frame, to create a beautiful 7″ * 5″ picture . Bring a photograph of a favourite landscape, a picture, or make something from your own imagination or the examples available. Pinterest provides an endless source of inspiration for projects of this nature – worth a browse before you come to the workshop.
About half way through the workshop we’ll provide you with a FREE hot drink from our tea room menu, plus some tasters of our delicious homemade cake. You are, or course, welcome to purchase a drink and/or cake when you arrive. Why not stay after your workshop and enjoy a browse around our beautiful shop. During the summer months we also offer a delicious cream tea in our tea room (subject to availability). All of our workshops take place within our welcoming shop and tea room, where you can be inspired by the work of our many local talented artists and makers.
Ali also creates art using various media, and makes Tiffany style glass pieces, also available at The Blue Room. She likes to dabble in lots of crafts and has a background in the education world. Ali is also offering workshops at The Blue Room making beaded jewellery. More details here.
