Knit and Natter

November 7 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 1:30pm on day Third of the month, repeating until December 19, 2018

An event every month that begins at 1:30pm on day First of the month, repeating until December 5, 2018

Join us at our twice monthly drop in Knit and Natter sessions, hosted by Lesley Gleeson, Coburg Crafts. Held on the first and third Wednesday of the month, meet like minded people for a couple of hours of chat, tea, coffee and cake. Oh, and a bit of knitting and crochet! Bring your own project to work on, or just join in the crafty chat. Sometimes the group may work together on a special project, but there’s no obligation to join in. Everyone’s welcome, and there’s no need to book. If we get busy, we just add another table and chairs to the group and shuffle up a bit. There’s a fee of £3 per session, which includes a hot drink. This is a very welcoming group so don’t be scared to come along and find out more.

Can’t make afternoons? We also have a monthly drop in on the third Wednesday evening of the month called Midweek Makers

What do our customers say about our workshops?

What was the best thing about the workshop?

I am not very artistic , so it caters for all levels, and still the end product looks good. (Fused Glass, February 2018)

Really helpful teaching and nice small group. Loved it! (Claire, Beginners Machine Sewing January 2018)

Very enjoyable relaxed atmosphere, learning new techniques. (Jan, Weave Pattern and Texture on a Peg Loom, January 2018)

Making something I’m proud of, learning new skills, and the social side. Cheese scone recommended! (Jan, January 2018, Beginners Patchwork)

A good way to spend time with friends; the finished product; swishing around with my new skirt; learning how to use my sewing machine. (Mar, Darcy, Lizzie, and Isabella. January 2018, Children’s private group sewing)

Lovely relaxing thing to do in the build up to Christmas. (Claire, Fused Glass, December 2017)

Very relaxing and enjoyable, will definitely do more at home. (Sharon, Needle Felting, December 2017)
