Fused Glass Christmas Picture

October 20 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

£35

In this special Christmas themed workshop you have the opportunity to design your own Fused Glass Christmas Picture. Christmas Trees, Santa and Snowmen all look glorious in captured in the colourful lustres of fused glass. A simple design is often the most effective, and works well with the natural beauty of the glass. We suggest you think about a design that isn’t too complex before you come to the workshop. Sarah will provide a variety of colours for you to use, but as the theme is Christmas she will focus on the most popular e.g. reds, greens, white.

Sarah will take your finished work away, fire it in her own kiln, and return it for collection from The Blue Room after approx. 2 weeks. The workshop is babout 2 hours long. Wooden stands suitable for your panel are available to purchase separately.

Please note that these workshops are NOT suitable for anyone under 14, and young people under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult who will work with them throughout the duration of this workshop.

About The Tutor: Sarah lives in Weston-super-Mare where she runs her own business as well as making her best selling fused glass! Sarah’s workshops are very popular, with customers returning time and again to enjoy creating something beautiful and unique. They fill up very quickly so we strongly recommend early booking.

What was the best thing about the workshop?

Really helpful teaching and nice small group. Loved it! (Claire, Beginners Machine Sewing January 2018)

Making something I’m proud of, learning new skills, and the social side. Cheese scone recommended! (Jan, January 2018, Beginners Patchwork)

A good way to spend time with friends; the finished product; swishing around with my new skirt; learning how to use my sewing machine. (Mar, Darcy, Lizzie, and Isabella. January 2018, Children’s private group sewing)

Lovely relaxing thing to do in the build up to Christmas. (Claire, Fused Glass, December 2017)
